This venture gave him deep expertise in trade, branding, and international business.
In 2022, he entered the quartz sector, co-leading India’s push into refinement.
He is known for his charisma and ability to dissect the integrity of quartz.
His leadership helped the team overcome early challenges in purity and performance.
Today, he shapes one of India’s first Ultra High Purity Quartz (UHPQ) plants in Chennai.
He also leads Southern Silicon Technology , turning India’s raw resources into advanced global technologies.
Tayeb Tahir Ali
Taiyeb Tahir Ali is the Founder and Director of Silicon Ingot Technology.
He has over two decades of entrepreneurial experience across industries and global trade. His journey began in 2000 in the foam industry, building a base in manufacturing.
By 2010, he expanded into India–China trade, strengthening cross-border ties.
In 2022, he entered the quartz sector, launching trading between India and China.
He acquired mines, mastered excavation, and studied quartz for semiconductors.
His persistence turned early setbacks into opportunities for breakthrough growth.
This vision led to one of India’s first Ultra High Purity Quartz (UHPQ) plants in Chennai.
He also drives Southern Silicon Technology (SST) and Chennai Quartz Silicon Technology (CQST). Through them, he is building platforms that transform India’s resources into next-generation technologies.
Asif Rangoonwala
Asif Rangoonwala is a mining professional with over 30 years of experience and a family legacy of more than 80 years in the industry. Holding a Diploma and Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering, he has led operations in iron ore, dolomite, and quartz, managing seven leasehold mines. A Life Member of the Mining Engineers’ Association of India, he has explored global mining opportunities. Since COVID, he has diversified into the quartz and semiconductor value chain, focusing on silicon ingots, wafers, photovoltaics, and microchips.
Anjireddy Amireddy
Anjireddy Amireddy holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Osmania University (1985) and served in the Customs and GST Department until 2022, retiring as Assistant Commissioner of Customs. He has deep expertise in FTAs, DGFT schemes, and trade facilitation mechanisms including EOU, EPCG, STP, and duty scrips. In 1994, he established a Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory in Hyderabad, pioneering the production of fruit, forest, and floriculture plants. His company became the first in India to produce and export tissue-cultured teak plants to Australia, marking a milestone in agri-biotech innovation.
Ahmed Ali TaherAli Siyahiwala
Ahmed Ali TaherAli Siyahiwala is an industrialist with over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and plant operations. Beginning in the foam industry in 2000, he managed production from start to finish while cultivating a passion for machinery. A Mechanical Engineer, he has helped establish plants across chemicals, automobiles, and heavy machinery. Since 2022, he has focused on the quartz and semiconductor sector, managing the setup of Silicon Ingot Technology, Chennai Quartz Silicon Technology, and Southern Silicon Ingot Technology, where he drives innovation in silicon ingot and quartz processing.
